HELLO.

I’ve decided not to use my English formal sounding last name, Longsworth, for this business adventure since, let's face it, Chad Everett (middle name) sounds cooler. After all, my mom did name me after Chad Everett, a soap opera star! How can I not embrace that?? I can tell you more about that later in a blog…

 

With over 25 years in the biz, I've seen a lot, built a lot and trust me, lots of stories to tell from along the way! I'm here to listen, to understand, tell you the good and bad straight up with no sugar coated bullsh**, and then guide you through the maze of construction decisions with honesty and care.

I'm not your average builder or construction advisor though: I'm a bit of a “kind and independent” black sheep, known for my integrity and care, a little wit here and there (mainly dad jokes), obsessive attention to detail and outside-the-box design thinking. I'm all about a simple mindset, being realistically driven and doing things smart but also different. I mean, we can do the norm, the typical trendy “white house dark windows” if that’s your thing (may cost you extra-jk) but I prefer to craft spaces and ideas that speak to your personality and your purpose, not everyone else’s or what's trendy. Whether it's a home renovation, revamping that rundown backyard shack, building a tiny home, camper, glamping shack or building a new custom home, we will get “Jiggy Wit It”, Will Smith style. (I know you just sang that song lyric in your head after reading it…may have even added the na-na, na, na, na-na-na-na part…)

 

But beyond the vision boards, blueprints and building codes, I'm also a dad of an amazing daughter (Ms. Norah Noo), a musician, outdoorsman, minimalist and a connoisseur of all things creative and unique—like custom cars/trucks/vans, rat rods, small dwellings, textures, tattoos and all kinds of music (except modern day country, sorry...I do like throwback country though). I thrive on the balance of laughter and seriousness, adventure and calmness, gratitude and kindness. Most of all, I love the satisfaction of helping people, making them light up with smiles or sometimes tears on their faces when they step into their well thought out, revamped spaces while witnessing their true wants and needs come to life! 

 

So, when you're ready to dive into a world of creativity, innovation, while having some fun, you're talking to the right lad, dad or Chad. We will get to know each other, create memories, enrich lives, then embark on a fun-filled construction adventure together!  Let's get down to business, channel our creative energy, and build something remarkable, one project at a time!

 

One more thing, since this “way of life” topic comes up a lot throughout coaching and home construction, I can also help guide you on a path of living simple, scaling down, decluttering, getting rid of the things you think you need. I’d be happy to make you face your fears and materialistic attachments, to replace them with compassionately freeing realities!
